![]() ![]() After creating the new "Category" folder with mapping, I realised I had missed a parameter mapping and then when deleting the empty "Category" folder i got the crash again. In the System Restore window, click Next, then select a Windows Restore point before your failed update. In the System Properties window, click System Restore. I basically needed to recreate the "Category" due to some paramater mapping being forgotten. To access your System Restore points, press Win + R to open the Run dialog box. I was doing some support for a customer that involved deleting a few families from CC, deleting the "Category" folder they were in and creating a new "Category" folder. I edited the CC library location in Inventor so it can find the files and tried again - still crashes when applying or changing a filter. I moved the CC library files to my drive which is where my inventor models are stored. I have checked all updates and SP's are installed and my Windows 10 is also up to date as far as I can tell. Perhaps it's co-incidental, I really don't know. ![]() Only when I place a part that I have modelled myself, can be a simple block did the CC crash again. Im waiting to hear back from them if this solved the issue. Can apply filters at will with no problems and can insert sample parts that come with inventor and every thing seemed fine. Inventor 2016 installed on Windows 10, trying to activate a custom content center library Inventor. As mentioned in a previous post, the CC seems to work fine in an empty assembly window and I can place all sorts of parts from the CC to my hearts content. I then re-installed Inventor 2016 and the problem at first seemed to be gone. Over the weekend I did a very thorough and clean uninstall of all Autodesk software on my pc as I had old versions of inventor installed on my system and thought that maybe this could be wreaking havoc. ![]()
